Al-Ghaashiyaالغاشية

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ۝١
2. 2[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ۝٢
3. 3Working [hard] and exhausted.عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ۝٣
4. 4They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً۝٤
5. 5They will be given drink from a boiling spring.تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍ۝٥
6. 6For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plantلَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ۝٦
7. 7Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍ۝٧
8. 8[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ۝٨
9. 9With their effort [they are] satisfiedلِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ۝٩
10. 10In an elevated garden,فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ۝١٠
11. 11Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةً۝١١
12. 12Within it is a flowing spring.فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ۝١٢
13. 13Within it are couches raised highفِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ۝١٣
14. 14And cups put in placeوَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ۝١٤
15. 15And cushions lined upوَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ۝١٥
16. 16And carpets spread around.وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ۝١٦
17. 17Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ۝١٧
18. 18And at the sky - how it is raised?وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ۝١٨
19. 19And at the mountains - how they are erected?وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ۝١٩
20. 20And at the earth - how it is spread out?وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ۝٢٠
21. 21So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ۝٢١
22. 22You are not over them a controller.لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ۝٢٢
23. 23However, he who turns away and disbelieves -إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ۝٢٣
24. 24Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ۝٢٤
25. 25Indeed, to Us is their return.إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ۝٢٥
26. 26Then indeed, upon Us is their account.ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم۝٢٦
